Features: The United Nations is the most universal, representative, and authoritative intergovernmental international organization in the world today. Since its creation in 1945, it has implemented 60 peacekeeping operations worldwide and has played an important role in maintaining international peace and security. In the field of international studies, research on the United Nations is a vast systematic project, and the study of legal issues in United Nations peacekeeping operations is an important part of it. The author has long been engaged in teaching and research on international organizations and international law. In 1996, he obtained a Ph.D. in Law from Wuhan University. He has studied at renowned universities abroad, visited the United Nations Headquarters in New York for field research, and served in the United Nations system for a period of time. As a result, he has both a foundation in theoretical research and practical experience. Combining years of teaching experience and the needs of scientific research, the author has conducted relatively in-depth and systematic research on the legal issues of United Nations peacekeeping operations in recent years. It can be said that the author is one of the earlier scholars in China to carry out research on legal issues in United Nations peacekeeping operations, and his papers and monographs have had a certain impact among academic peers.
