Patient's question:
Hello. Doctor. I was diagnosed with a Bartholin's cyst on the 5th of this month. The doctor told me to wait until after my period to have the surgery. On the 12th, my period ended, but the cyst started to hurt and became much larger. On the 13th and 14th, and today during the day, the pain was so severe that I couldn't even get out of bed. In the afternoon, around 6:30 PM, it broke on its own. Now it doesn't hurt anymore. What should I do now? Should I undergo anti-inflammatory treatment? Should I still have the surgery after my period ends? Thank you.Doctor's answer:
Suggest review. Personally, I recommend performing the stoma surgery because the (spontaneously ruptured wound) is irregular and prone to reocclusion.
