What are the treatment methods for azoospermia?

Patient's question:

I have been married for five years. Due to work reasons, I had not had children before. In the past year, I had been trying to have a child but kept failing. Under various pressures, my wife and I went to the hospital for check-ups. Everything was normal with my wife, but my semen analysis report showed no sperm. The doctor then asked me to come back in a week for another test, which also showed no sperm. After about three semen analyses, the doctor confirmed that I have azoospermia. What are the treatment options for azoospermia?

Doctor's answer:

Azoospermia is generally divided into two types: one is a dysfunction of the testes themselves, known as primary azoospermia or non-obstructive azoospermia. The other is normal testicular sperm production function, but due to blocked spermatic ducts, sperm cannot be expelled from the body, known as obstructive azoospermia. If it is the first case, then it does not have reproductive ability. If it is the second case, testicular puncture can be performed to extract sperm for artificial insemination.
