Patient's question:
Hello doctor, I would like to consult here about how to treat sperm death syndrome. I've been married for two or three years, but haven't had any children yet. My parents are urging us to have a child as soon as possible. When I went to the hospital for a check-up, I found out that I have sperm death syndrome. How should I treat it?Doctor's answer:
Non-hormonal anti-inflammatory treatment: Primarily used for chronic non-bacterial accessory gland inflammation. Commonly used drugs include aspirin, indomethacin, phenylbutazone, ibuprofen, etc. For example, indomethacin 25–50mg, three times daily; phenylbutazone 100mg, 3–4 times daily. Continuous medication for 1 month can reduce congestion and edema of accessory glands and achieve certain therapeutic effects on necrospermia. Additionally, due to the possibility of chlamydia and mycoplasma infection, tetracycline 0.5g, four times daily; doxycycline 100mg, once daily, for 1–2 weeks may be considered.
