Features: The title of this book, "Walking into Theoretical Economics," has three intentions: First, political economy is actually theoretical economy; it is the counterpart to applied economics. Because theoretical economy has long adopted the name "political economy," it has become a convention in academia. However, as a book title, it is worth clarifying the origin. Second, I once thought that saying "walking into" might be overambitious and whether "getting close to" would be better. Later, I reconsidered it. After being in contact with political economy for 43 years, I was even afraid to mention "walking into," which is a bit timid. The renowned philosopher Professor Chen Xian's famous work on historical materialism, "Walking into the Depths of History," uses the phrase "walking into" in its title. Of course, Professor Chen is a distinguished scholar, so it is perfectly appropriate to say "walking into." Moreover, even if different people enter the same treasure trove at the same time, they may not unearth the same treasures. Some may return with full loads, while others may have much less. Thus, merely "walking into" is not the key. With this thought, I boldly "walked into" it. Third, the papers on political economy included in this book are not systematic (to be honest, they could not be). They are like seashells picked up on the beach. While each may have some luster and be worth pondering, when strung together, they may not be harmonious. Therefore, the title "Walking into Theoretical Economics" indicates that my teaching and research is a process, with each article like a deeper footprint. Political economy is a vast and profound theoretical system, evolving from bourgeois classical political economy to Marxist political economy through a long historical development. Moreover, from the perspective of development in both the East and the West, Western bourgeois political economy has seen considerable new developments under modern conditions. This book is a summary of the author's 43-year history of learning and researching political economy, mainly including research on the theory and issues of socialist economy, the theory and issues of contemporary capitalist economy, and the study of economics and economic philosophy, etc.
