Features: Modern Japanese Reading Course is an auxiliary textbook developed to meet the needs of the development of Japanese education and teaching in China. Its main objective is to enhance students' reading comprehension, foreign language thinking, and analytical skills through guided extensive reading, consolidate acquired language knowledge, broaden knowledge and vocabulary, enrich Japanese language intuition, and ultimately achieve the goal of using Japanese for communication. This course is suitable for general reading courses in Japanese majors, reading courses for university Japanese programs, and teaching in various Japanese teaching institutions. It can also be used by a wide range of self-study Japanese learners. This series consists of four volumes, each with 25 lessons, for teaching institutions to choose from. Each lesson is composed of a text, explanations, and exercises I, II, III, and IV. The texts selected are original articles, and efforts have been made to avoid those already appearing in other domestic textbooks. The length of the articles gradually increases from approximately 1,500 to 3,500 words, with an arrangement that considers difficulty levels in a progressive, step-by-step manner. When selecting materials, attention has been paid to the ideological, practical, knowledge-based, scientific, and entertaining aspects of the articles, while also taking into account the diversity of themes and genres. To broaden students' perspectives and knowledge, some articles that are not entirely standard from the perspective of grammar and sentence structure have been intentionally included.
