Features: As part of the research team at the China Renmin University's Center for Criminal Law Science, which serves as a national research base, some researchers published the highly judicially guiding and reference-worthy series "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Criminal Issues" (Volumes 1 to 10) in 1999. After the publication of the series, with the rapid changes in social reality, the controversial and perplexing issues affecting the quality and fairness of criminal justice also evolved. Certain new controversial issues not only exist widely across the country with significant common characteristics but also become increasingly complex due to the development of the economic situation. Among these, tort law, as an important component of civil law, plays a vital role in protecting the civil rights of citizens and legal persons, punishing civil violations, and advancing civilization, progress, and social development. Since ancient times, tort law has held a significant position in the entire legal system and is an essential part of civil law. In "On Tort Law," the author has compiled their accumulated experience, making this work a summary of their decade-long research in tort law. The author aims to present the latest achievements in tort law research, depict the complete theoretical system of tort law, and reveal the fundamental principles of tort law, thereby serving as a reference for civil law theorists and practitioners in applying and studying tort law. The rapid complexity of criminal forms and modes of behavior has led to significant challenges. These issues are particularly prominent in crimes such as official misconduct, economic crimes, and new types of crimes. To fully realize the original intention and purpose of writing this series and to address the newly emerging criminal difficulties more promptly and specifically, the second batch of publications in this series is released in the form of thematic studies. The following seven titles are published first: "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Official Misconduct," "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Property Crimes," "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Intellectual Property Crimes," "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Drug Crimes," "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Obstructing Judicial Administration," "Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Issues in Disrupting Financial Management Order," and "Judicial Countermeasures for Determining the Boundaries of Financial Crimes." It should be noted that due to the varying practical needs of judicial practice at different times, the content selection and system arrangement of this series primarily depend on the actual needs of judicial practice rather than pursuing textbook-style theoretical completeness. Therefore, it is envisioned to continuously divide, edit, and publish the series without aiming for comprehensiveness, while adapting to the varying levels of judicial difficulties encountered in different periods.
