Features: Building a harmonious socialist society is the overall layout of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, reflecting the inevitable requirements of implementing the scientific development concept. Building a harmonious socialist society is a huge systematic project, facing many difficulties and challenges, and cannot be achieved overnight. It must be approached with a long-term perspective, starting from the reality, especially from the issues that the people are concerned with, directly affected by, and practically interested in. These practical issues are the main contradictions in our economic and social development in the current and coming period. The main contradiction in China's economic and social development in the current and coming period is: the comprehensive and rapid growth of public demand and the severe shortage of public product supply. This is a prominent reflection of the main contradiction in the primary stage of socialism in the current context. To promote the comprehensive progress of society, it is essential to firmly grasp this main contradiction. This book is a collection of some reflections on social development strategies and social development management in recent years.
