Features: Culture is the way of shared thoughts, actions, and feelings among members of a society, as well as its products. It is created by people and, through regulating their thoughts and constraining their actions, provides a conceptual reality that offers a sense of order for survival and meaning in life. The structure of culture can be divided into three levels: the base structure (material and technological), the structure (organizational institutions), and the superstructure (ideas or ideology). Culture can also be categorized into four relatively stable levels of identity: human culture, era culture, national culture, and ethnic culture. These levels and dimensions are unified within human social organization and the practice of human development. To promote the study of ethnic culture theory and policy, Zhou Mingfu, the former Vice Minister of the State Nationalities Commission, and Jin Xinghua, the former Director of the Department of Culture and Propaganda, organized the writing of the book "A Brief Introduction to the Culture of China's Ethnic Minorities" with renowned experts in ethnic culture research. The book was published and distributed by the Nationalities Publishing House. "A Brief Introduction to the Culture of China's Ethnic Minorities" is divided into three parts and 18 chapters, elaborating on the forms and development of ethnic cultures in China from multiple perspectives. This book is an important achievement in the field of ethnic culture research in China and holds milestone significance.
