Publish Date: 2006-06-01
Features: Among the books published by Zhang Luozhi, many have been adapted into film works. Examples include the films Thunderbolt Baby, Magic Watch, Do You Have a Pencil with a Mouse Brand?, and Soccer Ace, among others, totaling eight adaptations. At many events where I meet readers, when I am introduced as the author of the film Thunderbolt Baby, readers instantly feel like they are "familiar" with me. One day, a reporter attended a seminar for my work Illegal Wisdom. She insisted on getting a signed copy of Thunderbolt Baby. She had watched the film when she was in middle school. Unfortunately, I no longer have that book. This time, Zhejiang Juvenile and Children's Publishing House, with the readers' needs in mind, has published this flexible and versatile series of essays, which can either "charge as a group" or "operate as a solo unit." The purpose is not only to summarize the author's writing but, more importantly, to reach a broad readership and remember what they enjoy reading.
Zhang Luozhi, the author of these works, is a renowned children's literature writer who was featured in an interview by China Central Television's "Eastern Sons." His works have not only won numerous domestic and international awards but have also been adapted into films and television dramas, becoming wildly popular across the country and beloved by a vast readership. The three series have distinct styles: the "Very Funny" series is humorous and laugh-out-loud; the "Very Touching" series is emotionally sincere and heartwarming; and the "Very Mysterious" series is thrilling and enchanting. These works are carefully selected, recent masterpieces by Zhang Luozhi, and are highly readable. So far, a total of 6 books from these three series have been released and have been deeply loved by readers. This time, we are continuing to release the second batch of new books: The Last One Was Assassination, Silly Duck Ou Ba'er, The Leader of the Wild Cats, Strange Playing Cards, Magic Watch, and Mantis No. 1.
