What are the abnormal conditions after tubal irrigation examination?

Patient's question:

My wife had an ectopic pregnancy last year, and now we want to have a child, but we are very afraid of getting another ectopic pregnancy. On December 27th, we went to the hospital for an ultrasound and a routine vaginal discharge test. The results showed no problems, and the outpatient doctor said we needed to do a fallopian tube hydrotubation test. At the time, since my wife was about to start her period, the doctor said we needed to wait 3 days after her period ended to do it. On January 10th, we went to the hospital for the fallopian tube hydrotubation test. It was very painful during the test (though others didn’t feel as much pain—she might just be more sensitive to pain). There was also a little bleeding at the time. An hour after coming home from the test, the pain stopped, but she had continuous menstrual bleeding. January 10th evening.

Doctor's answer:

Hello, after tubal irrigation, medication is required, and you can participate in sports. Additionally, avoid sexual intercourse and tub baths for 2 weeks post-surgery. If the bleeding is not significant, there is no need for hemostasis; observation is sufficient first.
