Additional tests: On May 12, a TCT test was performed, but the results have not yet been received.

Doctor's answer:

Friend, hello: Chronic cervical inflammation is one of the various damages that the cervix can suffer. It often manifests as increased vaginal discharge, which becomes viscous or purulent, and may even cause a sense of lower abdominal and waist discomfort. It can worsen before menstruation, during bowel movements, and during sexual intercourse. Moreover, it can also lead to accompanying symptoms such as cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical hypertrophy, and cervical cysts. The cervix serves as a crucial barrier preventing pathogenic microorganisms from entering the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. Therefore, the cervix is easily susceptible to various pathogenic factors, leading to inflammation.
Home Remedies for Chronic Cervical Inflammation:
(1) Apply a 20% silver nitrate solution to the eroded areas, then clean with a sterile saline swab. Repeat once a week, with 2–4 applications constituting one course of treatment. This can treat mild cervical erosion.
(2) Clean the external genitalia daily with a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution.
(3) Boil 15 grams each of snail shell, Huangpi, Kushen, and Ganzhong in water, strain the liquid, and use it to rinse the vagina when warm.
(4) Grind Huanglian, Huangpi, and Huangqi into a fine powder, taking 6 grams each time, and apply to the eroded cervix once daily.
After developing chronic cervical inflammation, attention should be paid to the following:
(1) Ensure adequate rest, consume more fruits, vegetables, and light foods.
(2) Pay attention to menstrual hygiene and external genital cleanliness to prevent inflammation.
(3) Maintain hygiene during the postpartum period to avoid infection.
(4) For chronic cervical inflammation, especially cervical erosion, a cervical scraping test should be performed before treatment to rule out early cervical cancer.
