Features: This book is the result of the 2005 key research project by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, titled "Research on the Public Cultural Service System." The book is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the construction of the public cultural service system, the realization of citizens' cultural rights, the development of a service-oriented government, as well as the main components, support and safeguard systems, performance management, and evaluation of the public cultural service system. The second part is divided into thematic reports and case analyses. The Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Government attach great importance and attention to the construction of the public cultural service system and the realization of citizens' cultural rights. They have included the construction of the public cultural service system in Shenzhen's "11th Five-Year Plan" for national economic and social development, proposing the goal of building a comprehensive public cultural service system that is "reasonably structured, balanced in development, well-networked, rich in products, highly efficient in operation, and of high-quality service" and covers the entire city. This year marks the beginning of the implementation of the "11th Five-Year Plan." We believe that through systematic research and summarization, the formation of a scientific theory of the public cultural service system, and its application to the practical construction of the public cultural service system in our city, the construction of the public cultural service system in our city will become more perfect, and citizens' cultural rights will be more effectively guaranteed through this comprehensive public cultural service system.
