Features: This book examines the process of sinicization of Marxist philosophy in China during the first half of the 20th century from the perspective of the transformation between practical philosophy and theoretical philosophy, summarizing it as having gone through three theoretical stages and two paradigm shifts in philosophical thinking. It argues that the fundamental reason for the theoretical transformation of Marxist philosophy in China is due to the change in philosophical thinking. From the unity of history and logic, it demonstrates that Mao Zedong's philosophy is a form of practical philosophy, revealing the deviations caused by understanding Mao Zedong's philosophy through the lens of theoretical philosophy. It further argues that the essence of Mao Zedong's practical philosophy lies in interpreting Marxist philosophy through his personal experiences in leading the Chinese revolution, while inheriting and transforming traditional Chinese practical philosophy. At the same time, it transforms Marx's practical philosophy into a discourse system that Chinese people can accept, achieving a truly meaningful sinicization of Marxist philosophy. The book also repositions the historical role of figures such as Qu Qiubai, Li Da, and Ai Siqi in the sinicization of Marxist philosophy. Unlike previous studies that typically positioned them as systematically, comprehensively, and accurately understanding and introducing Marxist philosophy, this book analyzes their primary contribution from the perspective of the transformation of philosophical paradigms, highlighting the dual significance of Marxist philosophy they received from the Soviet Union.
