Features: Security and protection technology involves knowledge from multiple disciplines such as electronics, computers, and sensors. This book provides an easy-to-learn and practical professional textbook or training manual for cultivating intermediate technical workers in this industry. The book follows the trainees' cognitive process, with the expansion of knowledge and skill training starting from recognizing equipment (software). Based on this recognition, trainees become familiar with and use the equipment (software). Then, they learn to install and connect the equipment (software), followed by parameter settings after installation and connection to meet the normal operational requirements of the equipment (software). Through hands-on installation and connection of the system, trainees deepen their understanding of fault diagnosis and repair, further mastering common troubleshooting techniques.
Chapters 1 to 4 introduce the use, installation, connection, setting, and fault diagnosis of television monitoring system equipment and software. Chapters 5 to 6 cover the use, installation, connection, setting, and fault diagnosis of anti-theft and intrusion alarm system equipment. Chapters 7 to 8 discuss the use, installation, connection, setting, and fault diagnosis of access control system equipment and software. Chapters 9 to 10 introduce the use, installation, connection, setting, and fault diagnosis of building intercom system equipment and software.
Each chapter includes relevant reading materials to broaden trainees' knowledge, as well as corresponding exercises and project training for students to assess their learning outcomes. At the end of the book, there is a bilingual glossary of common terms and symbols for security and protection systems, as well as a diagrammatic table to help readers solve problems related to reading diagrams, functional debugging, and menu settings. This book can be used as a teaching manual for security and protection technology courses in property management, building intelligence, and related majors in secondary vocational schools, or as a job training textbook.
To facilitate teaching, this book is also accompanied by an electronic teaching reference package (including preface, electronic lesson plans, and exercise answers), details of which can be found in the preface.
This book primarily introduces the use of television monitoring systems, the connection of television monitoring systems, the fault diagnosis of television monitoring systems, and the use of anti-theft and intrusion alarm systems, among other content.
