Doctor's answer:
Hello! After taking the medication, a small amount of vaginal bleeding may occur earlier. Some women may have a prolonged bleeding period after an abortion. A few women with early pregnancy may naturally miscarry after taking mifepristone. Approximately 80% of pregnant women will expel the chorionic villi sac within 6 hours of using this medication. About 10% of pregnant women will expel the products of conception within one week of taking the medication. Some women may also experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, lower abdominal pain due to uterine contractions, fever, dizziness, fatigue, chills, numbness in the hands and feet, flushed skin, and tingling sensations.
