Doctor's answer:
Hello: There are many treatment methods for cervical erosion, and appropriate choices can be made based on the severity of the erosion. The main methods are as follows:(1)Medication: For small erosion areas with shallow inflammation infiltration, the following medication methods can be used:
① 10–20% silver nitrate: Apply locally once a week, with 2–4 applications constituting one course.
② Potassium permanganate: Apply locally after menstruation, and repeat the medication once after 1–2 months. When using these medications, handle with care to prevent burns to the surrounding vaginal walls, and ensure sterilization during application to prevent reinfection.
(2)Physical therapy: Used for larger erosion areas with deeper inflammation infiltration.
① Electrocautery: Use a specially designed electrocautery device to burn the erosion tissue, causing it to necrose and fall off. It must reach a certain depth for effective treatment.
② Cryotherapy: Use a specially designed rapid freezing device to freeze and necrose the diseased tissue of the erosion, causing it to fall off. Liquid nitrogen is commonly used as the cryogenic agent, which can lower the temperature of the cryoprobe to -196°C. Apply it to the surface of the cervix to freeze and necrose the erosion tissue, allowing new squamous epithelial tissue to regenerate. One treatment is usually sufficient. Generally, there are no adverse reactions, though some patients may experience mild dizziness or lower abdominal pain.
③ Laser therapy: Most commonly uses a carbon dioxide laser therapy device. Apply the specially designed laser treatment head to the erosion tissue to carbonize, form scabs, and cause them to fall off, allowing new squamous epithelial tissue to regenerate. One treatment is usually sufficient. There is no special discomfort during the procedure, though some patients may experience bleeding when the scabs fall off.
④ KS device treatment: This method involves...
