Route Selection: For general drivers, considering safety and economy, we recommend highways as the first choice, followed by national highways, then provincial highways. Off-road vehicles are the exception, and generally, county and township roads should not be used for long-distance travel.
About Mileage: For national highways, provincial highways, and county/township roads, mileage refers to the distance between two residential points (or intersections).
About Exits: Highways are fully enclosed and fully overpass roads, and you can only enter and exit through designated exits. Due to the high speed on highways, it is necessary to prepare in advance when leaving.
About Toll Plazas: Every exit has a toll plaza. The toll plazas marked in this map set are located on major highway trunk lines, which are different from toll plazas at general exits. These are usually located at provincial/city boundaries.
About Service Areas: These are places that provide various services to drivers without requiring them to leave the highway. They generally have facilities such as gas stations, shops, repair shops, and restrooms. If you are traveling long distances, you should plan for refueling and rest stops based on the distribution of service areas along the route to avoid inconvenience during your journey.
Highway Mileage Quick Calculation Method: The map set marks exits, toll plazas, and service areas with mileage markers. Subtracting the markers of the same route will give you the distance between them.
