Features: Dong Cuixiang is a female Han Chinese born in 1964 in Changyuan County, Henan Province. In 1981, she enrolled in the Physical Education Department of Henan Normal University and has been teaching there since 1985. In 1988, she was admitted as a master's student in physical education theory at Beijing Sport University, studying under the renowned school physical education expert Professor Liu Shaoceng of China, and obtained her Master of Education degree in 1991. In 1995, she was promoted to associate professor and received the "New Talent Award in Physical Education" inscribed by Premier Li Peng. In 1996, she was honored as one of the top 100 outstanding young and middle-aged physical education teachers in higher education institutions nationwide. In 2001, she was promoted to full professor and enrolled as a Ph.D. student in physical education humanities and social sciences at Beijing Sport University, studying under the renowned school physical education expert Professor Zhou Dengsong of China, and obtained her Doctor of Education degree in June 2004. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Institute of Physical Science at the School of Physical Education of Henan Normal University, as well as the Deputy Dean of the School of Physical Education, and a master's supervisor. She primarily engages in research on school physical education. Additionally, she holds positions such as a committee member of the School Physical Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Sports Sciences, a council member of the Henan Provincial Association of Sports Sciences, and a member of the Academic Committee of Henan Normal University. She has published over 50 academic papers in journals such as the Journal of Physical Education, the Journal of Beijing Sport University, the Journal of Chinese Sports Science, and the Journal of Shanghai Sport University. She has also participated in the compilation of national textbooks such as "School Physical Education" and "Physical Education Teaching Theory."
