How does Chlamydomonas treat?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: In November, I had a check-up for infertility, and the results showed that my husband's sperm quality was poor. The doctor said it was due to prostatitis and recommended wave therapy. The first treatment involved inserting a catheter through the glans, followed by four more treatments where the catheter was inserted through the anus. However, three days after the first treatment, he noticed small red spots on his glans. The doctor said it was a drug allergy (note: he was also receiving intravenous drips, once a day, while the treatments were administered three times a day). The doctor advised him to apply an anti-allergy cream and stop the IV medication. We didn't pay much attention to it. A few days later, we had intercourse, but then unexpected things happened. The next day after intercourse, I noticed some itching in my vulva, and he said his glans had turned red again.

Doctor's answer:

Treatment of Candida Vulvovaginitis: Rinse the external genitalia and vagina with sodium bicarbonate or soapy water to alter the vaginal pH, making it less conducive to the growth of fungi. After rinsing, insert Nystatin tablets or suppositories into the vagina or use Clotrimazole cream for better results. Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment and change the cleaned and disinfected underwear daily. Follow-up after the menstrual period.
