Pregnancy in the early stages? Questions.

Patient's question:

Doctor, I had my period on the 2nd of November and then on the 12th of December, which is a 40-day difference. Before November, it was always on time. This month, on January 17, 2006, it hasn't arrived yet, but I've been experiencing mild "dysmenorrhea" lately. Could this be due to pregnancy as well? If I am pregnant, but I don't have any other symptoms, and it's not possible for my period to always be delayed, what should I do?
Additionally, I've been having intermittent infections since November and December. I'm so frustrated. Please help me, doctor!!

Doctor's answer:

You might be pregnant, so I suggest you buy a pregnancy test kit and check right away. Not all pregnant women experience symptoms.
As for candidiasis, you can use a Daktarin suppository produced by Xian-Jin Pharmaceutical after confirming you're not pregnant. It's quite effective and not expensive. Also, frequent use of antibiotics can lead to recurrent candidiasis, so it's recommended to use them sparingly or not at all (unless necessary). Additionally, you should reduce your sugar intake appropriately. If you take proper care, candidiasis can be completely cured.
