Features: With the continuous deepening of the reform in China's project cost management work, as well as the development of the professional qualification system for cost engineers and cost engineering consulting firms, and the requirement to align project cost management with international standards after China's accession to the WTO, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook Compilation Committee has organized the writing of this set of training textbooks according to the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" revised by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003, for use in the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination from 2003 onwards. The newly revised examination training textbooks are divided into "Basic Theory and Related Regulations of Project Cost Management," "Project Costing and Control," "Construction Project Technology and Measurement" (one volume for civil engineering and one for installation engineering), and "Project Cost Analysis Cases."
Based on the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" formulated by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook Compilation Committee has revised the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbooks, forming the 2006 edition of the examination training textbooks. This book is divided into eight chapters, introducing the composition of project cost; the quota costing method for project cost; the bill of quantities costing method for project cost; the costing and control of project cost in the decision-making stage of a construction project; the costing and control of project cost in the design stage of a construction project; the bidding and contract price determination for construction projects; the costing and control of project cost in the construction stage of a construction project; and the preparation of project final accounts and the handling of post-completion warranty costs. This book can serve as a supplementary training textbook for readers preparing for the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination.
