What is the reason for bleeding after injecting the Yina Tong injection?

Patient's question:

I just had laparoscopic unilateral ovarian cystectomy and tubal hydrotubation on September 28th last year. The cyst was nearly 7 centimeters. I have severe endometriosis, and the doctor prescribed me to take Depo-Provera. I started taking it before the surgery, and on October 23rd, I received my last injection of Depo-Provera.
On January 9th of this year, I started bleeding from my vagina, similar to menstruation, but the color was very light. The first day had a heavier flow, and the following days had very little. After 7 days, the bleeding completely stopped. However, today, on the 18th, there is a small amount of blood being discharged again. What could this be? Was the bleeding on the 9th my period? Why am I still bleeding now?

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Regarding whether your condition is related to your menstrual cycle, only you know when your period starts. Based on such limited information, how can it be determined? As for your current condition, it still falls under the category of having certain gynecological inflammation. Therefore, it is recommended to actively follow up for further examination!
