Features: "The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)" is a Japanese language proficiency examination organized by the Japan Foundation on a global scale, possessing absolute authority. The certificates obtained from the test are recognized both domestically and internationally. The examination levels are ranked as Level 4, Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1, with Level 4 being the foundation and Level 1 being the highest. The examination content is divided into three sections: "Vocabulary and Grammar," "Listening," and "Reading and Grammar." This book is specifically designed for Level 3 and Level 4 candidates to study and master "Vocabulary and Grammar." The features of this book are as follows:
1. Based on the requirements of the "JLPT Test Specifications" published by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Foundation in 2002, and referencing the actual test questions and difficulty levels over the years, this book provides analytical guidance on question types to help candidates prepare targeted study.
2. Following the question types and quantity of questions for Level 3 and Level 4 vocabulary and grammar, we have compiled practical exercises. Specifically, for the five common question types shared by both levels, we have created five sets of exercises to help candidates improve their comprehension through self-assessment training, ultimately enhancing their performance in the Level 3 and Level 4 exams.
3. To help candidates understand the methods and pathways for taking the exam, grasp the total score and passing threshold, and identify the similarities and differences in the question-setting methods for Level 3 and Level 4, this book provides a dedicated introduction and comparative analysis in the opening chapter. This ensures that all candidates with this book will clearly understand the key knowledge points and difficulty levels for vocabulary and grammar when preparing for Level 1 or Level 2 in the future, remaining confident and ultimately achieving success.
4. The appendix of this book includes over 4,000 vocabulary entries for Level 3 and Level 4. Among them, entries with an asterisk () before the word are for Level 4, numbering over 3,000, and these, combined with entries without an asterisk, constitute Level 3 vocabulary. Entries with a star [★] after the word are important vocabulary, with the number of stars indicating how frequently they have appeared in past JLPT exams, warranting close attention.
