Is there any other way to protect the fetus?

Patient's question:

Urine tests and ultrasounds did not detect pregnancy, and no abnormalities were found in the uterine appendages. However, blood tests confirmed pregnancy. Yesterday, there was some bleeding. There was no pain in the abdomen, just a slight redness—not much. After taking progesterone, it seemed to reduce a bit, but it's still unclear.
Is there any other way to protect the pregnancy besides taking progesterone? I mean, are there other methods like injections or medications? I heard progesterone has side effects—is that true? If I take another blood test and the results show lower levels than before, does that mean the baby might not be viable?

Doctor's answer:

It is recommended to consult a hospital or undergo prenatal examinations during pregnancy to monitor the situation. However, prenatal examination items cannot completely diagnose the overall development of the fetus.
