Features: The Complete Medical Works of Wang Bing is a compilation of medical treatises compiled by Wang Bing during the Tang Dynasty. Wang Bing was a renowned medical scholar in the mid-Tang Dynasty, with his origins and life unrecorded. He was known as Qiyuanzi and also by the alias Wang Taipu, primarily living during the Kaiyuan and Tianbao years of the Tang Dynasty. He held the position of Taipu Ling and, in the first year of the Baoying era, completed the annotation of the Suwen section of the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon after 12 years of arduous effort, compiling it into 24 volumes. During this time, he also "compiled Xuanzhu to elaborate on his theories." Additionally, the 28-volume Tianyuan Yu Ce and the Yuanhe Ji Yong Jing have survived to this day. His book Zhaozhao Yin Zhi has long been lost. This book systematically organizes and compiles Wang Bing's annotations and collations of the Suwen section of the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon. Since Wang Bing was a transmitter of the five elements and qi theory, in-depth research on his medical academic thoughts has been conducted based on the systematic organization and compilation of his works. At the end of the book, there is a bibliography of modern research papers on Wang Bing. This book is the first systematic compilation of Wang Bing's relevant works, primarily using annotation with a combination of collation and annotation. It compiles and organizes four of the five surviving works of Wang Bing, using simplified characters and horizontal layout, making it suitable for learning and research by various practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
