Features: In the 1980s, as China's reform and opening-up began to flourish and the legal field and legal education started to rise again, the China Legal Publishing House served the Chinese legal education with sincerity and great effort. Since the 21st century, while China's legal education has made great strides in development, it has also actively nurtured and implemented reform measures, making the cultivation of high-quality modern legal talents an important goal of legal education. To this end, the publisher has responded to the times, striving for greater breakthroughs in the variety, content, and format of textbooks to provide better learning materials for the new generation of legal professionals. Regarding university textbooks, we adopt two approaches: comprehensively revamping existing textbooks or launching entirely new ones. Revamping existing textbooks aims to select the best among the published textbooks, especially those from the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" and "Ninth Five-Year Plan," to comprehensively update, revise, and reorganize them, ensuring that these enduring treasures of legal education continue to serve new readers in a fresh new way. Launching entirely new textbooks may involve introducing the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" textbooks or inviting outstanding authors to write original works that meticulously explain principles, combine practice, focus on the forefront, and strive to create new classics for the new century. Outstanding authors may be seasoned veterans or emerging talents. Whether revamping or launching new titles, these textbooks present a fresh image in the 21st century and share the prestige of planning textbooks, hence they are uniformly named: "21st Century Legal Planning Textbooks." To meet teaching needs, we have also successively launched this brand-new series of "21st Century Legal Teaching Reference Books." We firmly believe that China's legal education will continue to grow and strengthen through reform and development; we commit that this series of "21st Century Legal Planning Textbooks" and "21st Century Legal Teaching Reference Books," as well as all other legal education books published by our house, will constantly be updated and surpassed in the process of development. Guided by the principle of wholeheartedly serving the development of law and legal education and the readers, we are willing to work even harder, together with our readers and authors, to create a bright future for the rule of law and legal education. This book covers the basic teaching requirements of the Ministry of Education's core legal courses and is supplementary to mainstream textbooks.
