Mycoplasma infection and abdominal pain: How to treat

Patient's question:

Last month, I was diagnosed with mycoplasma infection. It was actually two types: Mycoplasma hominis and one whose name I've forgotten. Then, it seems my has inflammation, and it hasn't improved after being treated for several months. Especially during the mid-cycle, ovulation period, I experience lower abdominal pain, a strong urge to defecate, and excessive flatulence. Even the bumps from riding in a car can make me feel uterine pain. Additionally, hitting my buttocks also causes pain.
Could mycoplasma be the reason why the inflammation hasn't improved? And can mycoplasma infection be cured within a month? I have never been pregnant before—does this have anything to do with it?

Doctor's answer:

Based on your description of the situation, it is likely that the symptoms are caused by Mycoplasma infection. It is recommended that you take azithromycin orally, apply heat, pay attention to your diet, and avoid spicy, irritating, and cold foods.
