Features: How to fundamentally address the problems in secondary school English teaching, making the reform of English teaching both clearly contemporary—implementing quality education—and not detached from China's reality—meeting the requirements of the college entrance examination. This is the main purpose of the revision of "Three Points One Test: Senior High School English." To achieve this goal, the book not only provides systematic English knowledge but also focuses on cultivating and improving students' comprehensive language application skills. Based on the new spirit of educational reform from the Ministry of Education and the feedback from a wide range of readers, as well as the new textbooks, we have made substantial revisions on the basis of the previous edition, making the book more practical and truly becoming a premium learning guide for students. The book is divided into 10 units. Each unit is divided into five parts: 1. Exploration Objectives; 2. Exploration Guidance; 3. Comprehensive Training; 4. Reference Answers. The book dedicates extensive effort to analyzing phonetics, grammar, four-skill (two-skill) vocabulary, and word patterns, accompanied by a large number of standardized and concise example sentences. The comprehensive training in each unit, as well as the mid-term and final test papers, are divided into listening and written parts. The written part includes five types of questions: multiple-choice; cloze; reading comprehension; error correction; and written expression. In the sentence-based tests, emphasis is placed on the examination of context and context plus grammar, while also noting the diversity and comprehensiveness of the questions. The deeper questions in the passages have been increased, which is beneficial for cultivating skills and developing intelligence. This change aligns perfectly with the requirements of the college entrance examination, helping to improve students' exam-taking abilities.
