Does an enlarged follicle have any effects?

Patient's question:

Hello! Because of my poor ovulation, the doctor prescribed me ovulation-stimulating medication. This month, I took Clomiphene from the 5th to the 9th day of my period, and on the 15th day (today), an ultrasound showed that the follicle was 29mm31mm. The follicle is too large, so what should I do to make it ovulate? In the previous months, my basal body temperature rose from the 16th to the 18th day of my period. Am I still likely to ovulate naturally? If the follicle is ovulated with medication, can such a large follicle be fertilized? If it can, will the resulting embryo be normal? This is the second time I am using Clomiphene. Last month, the follicle was 19mm23mm when it ovulated, but it didn’t lead to successful fertilization.

Doctor's answer:

Hello:
Taking ovulation medication can induce ovulation, and there is a possibility of natural ovulation. The released eggs can be fertilized, and ovulation medication treatment can continue.
