What is the cause of blisters found at the cervix?

Patient's question:

When I was having my first child, the doctor who delivered me told me that there was a blister the size of a quail egg at the opening of my cervix (the exact location wasn't very clear, not sure if it was inside the vagina?). It didn't hurt or itch, so I didn't take it seriously. I don't know what this blister is. Can anyone tell me? I know very little about this. Is it an ovarian cyst? Or is it appendicitis of the uterine appendages?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! Generally, self-examination cannot reveal your cervix; only a doctor can see it using specialized examination tools. A normal cervix is smooth, soft, and elastic. In cases of inflammation, symptoms such as increased discharge, purulent discharge, redness, swelling, erosion, and thickening may occur. If it is an infectious sexually transmitted disease, symptoms like growths or herpes may appear. It is recommended to visit a regular hospital for a detailed examination to determine and treat the condition.
