Do you have nausea and vomiting pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I've been experiencing vomiting for the past week. Sometimes I can vomit something out, but other times I can't vomit anything at all. However, we both use condoms for contraception. Last month, my period came a week early, and it was very light, lasting only for 2 days. Could this mean I'm pregnant?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, there are usually no symptoms in the first week of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, your next normal menstrual period will not come. Moreover, in the initial 20-40 days, you may experience frequent urination, aversion to greasy food, fatigue, breast tenderness, small lumps around the areola, and so on. After some time, as the embryo develops, you may feel nauseous and vomit in the morning.
