Does appendicitis have any effects?

Patient's question:

This October, I went to a health check-up center for a gynecological examination. The doctor said that there was adnexitis on the left side of my uterus (the doctor mentioned it might be a result of a cesarean section during childbirth). For the past one and a half months, I have been feeling something moving in the lower left side (similar to fetal movement in the early stages of pregnancy). Is it caused by adnexitis? If not, what could be the reason?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! The hazards of appendicitis mainly include: causing acute lower abdominal pain, accompanied by fever, post-coital pain, and severe pain that can radiate to the lower back, affecting work and daily life. If acute appendicitis is not treated promptly or thoroughly, it can develop into chronic appendicitis, leading to fallopian tube blockage and causing infertility. It is recommended to seek timely treatment to avoid it becoming chronic.
Develop good hygiene habits, wash daily, and avoid using irritating soaps and detergents. Wear loose, cotton underwear. Wishing you good health!
