Features: The close relationship between thinking and language determines the close relationship between logic and language. Language is the tool for realizing thinking. With language, people can think abstractly and communicate ideas in joint activities. This inseparability between language and thinking constitutes the unique way of thinking of humans. Only through the study and abstraction of language can people summarize the logical forms of thinking; only through the generalization and abstraction of the semantics of sentence connectors (logical constants) can people abstract proposition forms and inference forms from thinking; and only through language as a carrier can people study inference forms. Modern logic requires the precision of language, replacing natural language with artificial symbolic language to conduct logical deductions like mathematical operations, which is a leap in the development of logic. However, the study of logic, from the intuitive form of natural language to the symbolic form of artificial language, cannot be separated from language as a carrier. Words and sentences correspond to terms and propositions in logic, simple sentences and compound sentences correspond to simple propositions and compound propositions in logic, and sentence groups correspond to inferences (though this is not a strict one-to-one correspondence). Therefore, the study of logical forms is inseparably linked to language.
