Patient's question:
Hello! I am a 21-year-old girl, and this is my first time having a relationship and also my first miscarriage. Later, I developed cervical erosion. When it comes to gynecological diseases, it feels so distant to me now. I feel so lost and don’t know what to do. I’ve taken many medications and had many injections, but it seems like it’s not getting better. After being with my boyfriend for a while, my vaginal discharge starts to have a bad odor again, which is so annoying! I have mild cervical erosion, and now I’m using Zhìmílíng and taking Qianjīnpiàn. Can a doctor cure it? Can you give me a prescription to help me get rid of it? I feel it’s so terrible! First follow-up question: I once checked and it was moderate.Doctor's answer:
Hello, when patients have mild cervical erosion, they generally do not have obvious subjective symptoms, or may only have a slight increase in leukorrhea, which is often easily overlooked. Many patients' cervical erosion is discovered during routine examinations or when they visit a gynecologist for other gynecological conditions. The most obvious symptoms of moderate and severe cervical erosion are an increased amount of leukorrhea, yellow in color and viscous, or leukorrhea mixed with blood streaks. In some cases, post-coital bleeding may occur. Long-term stimulation of the external genitalia by inflammatory leukorrhea can also cause pruritus ani. Additionally, since the cervical lymphatic vessels are directly connected to the parametrium, inflammation can spread to the pelvic cavity through the lymphatic system, leading to parametritis and symptoms such as lower back and sacral pain, as well as lower abdominal fullness and distension. In some cases, infertility may also be caused by cervical erosion.
