To celebrate the 85th anniversary of Xiamen University, Xiamen University Press proudly presents the commemorative collection Under the Phoenix Tree – My Xiamen University Student Days. Dozens of generations of students gather together, collectively portraying the remarkable years and beautiful moments they have experienced. Their heartfelt aspirations and thoughts transform into magnificent writings, instantly making time reverse, pausing the passage of years, freezing the scene, and recreating the circumstances. Thus, the ever-green alma mater remains eternally beautiful and warm, while the youthful classmates retain their timeless vitality. This book primarily reflects the student life at Xiamen University, covering the experiences of freshmen from the first year to graduate students in their studies and academic pursuits. It aims to break through the superficial monotony of university life and reveal the true essence of student existence. The book will be richly illustrated, striving for a harmonious blend of text and images.
