The adolescent period is a critical time for the formation of world outlook, life outlook, and values. During this stage, providing young people with proper education on the concept of honor and disgrace, helping them develop a clear understanding of right and wrong, good and evil, and beauty and ugliness, plays an extremely important role in their life choices. The Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace for Youth Education is divided into three versions based on readers' age groups: middle school edition, upper primary school edition, and lower primary school edition. Each edition contains 8 topics and adopts a combination of theoretical explanations and typical stories to provide an illustrated interpretation of the important exposition of "Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces" proposed by General Secretary Hu Jintao. The selected stories include both historical tales that embody the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and contemporary events rich in the spirit of the times, covering multiple aspects such as politics, economy, society, and interpersonal relationships. They also incorporate value orientations closely related to China's socialist cause, such as patriotism and collectivism, offering clear and concise guidance for the thoughts and behaviors of young people. To enhance the readability and relatability of the book, most stories are accompanied by vivid illustrations, and each topic is supplemented with famous quotes relevant to the theme of the topic.
