Features: The "Case Studies on Technological Innovation of China National Petroleum Group" jointly completed by the Science and Technology Development Department of China National Petroleum Group, Tsinghua University, and Xi'an Petroleum University reflects the understanding and practice of China National Petroleum Group in advancing independent innovation and enhancing technological innovation capabilities from different perspectives through case studies in recent years. The book collects a total of 24 cases, with the main themes derived from field research, interviews with key figures, review of original materials, and written materials provided by relevant units. It has three distinctive features: First, it adopts the "Harvard Teaching Case" format, using real-life stories with a style different from general work summaries or technical summaries. Second, the cases are divided into four parts: Technological Innovation Strategy, Technology Management and Cultivation of Technological Innovation Capabilities, Incentive Mechanisms for Science and Technology Personnel, and Intellectual Property Management. Each part includes a case introduction, and each case is followed by discussion questions, primarily to guide and inspire readers to engage in deeper thinking while reading the cases. Third, the introductions to the corporate backgrounds of different cases from the same enterprise are retained. Although they may appear repetitive from a formal perspective, the different angles of introducing the corporate backgrounds in each case help enhance readers' understanding of the cases, making them suitable for use individually.
