The study selected 11 nature reserves nationwide for case studies on collaborative management, forming a series of case study reports. At the same time, it reviewed and analyzed relevant policies, laws, theories, and practices on collaborative management of nature reserves both domestically and internationally, focusing on nature reserve laws and policies, community-based resource co-management in Chinese nature reserves, and community-led conservation. Based on this, the study proposes three reference principles and ten specific legislative recommendations for the policy-making and legislation of China's nature reserve system from the community perspective and with a co-management model as the starting point. This book compiles all the results of the study, with the aim of facilitating communication and exchange with more colleagues who are concerned about and committed to the coordinated and sustainable development of nature reserves.
