Pregnant 36 weeks, fetal half-engagement, is there a problem?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: I am 36 weeks pregnant, and the baby has already started moving downward two weeks ago. It is now half engaged (as the doctor said). My abdomen is very hard and tight, especially in the afternoon and evening. I want to ask if my gestational age and this condition are normal in terms of timing? Will I give birth prematurely?
Additionally, most of the previous fetal movements were felt as the baby's buttocks moving, and the movements of its limbs were not very noticeable. Now, it often kicks near my ribs with more force. Is this normal?
First follow-up question: I also want to know if it is common for the baby not to be fully engaged yet if it hasn't been delivered yet.

Doctor's answer:

The fetus may not have engaged or there may be cephalopelvic disproportion. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a timely check-up to determine if there is cephalopelvic disproportion. Engage in appropriate activity to promote fetal engagement.
It is recommended that you maintain a balanced diet, enhance nutrition, drink plenty of water, pay attention to hygiene and warmth, engage in appropriate activity, and undergo regular prenatal check-ups to monitor the fetus's development. Prepare for delivery items and make arrangements for childbirth.
