The study selected 11 nature reserves nationwide for case studies on collaborative management, forming a series of case study reports. At the same time, it reviewed and analyzed policies, laws, theories, and practices related to collaborative management of nature reserves both domestically and internationally, focusing on nature reserve legal and policy frameworks, community-based resource co-management in China's nature reserves, and community-led conservation. Based on this, the study proposes three reference principles and ten specific legislative recommendations for China's nature reserve policy-making and legislation from a community perspective and with a co-management model as the starting point. This book compiles all the outcomes of the research, with the purpose of facilitating communication and exchange with more colleagues who are concerned about and committed to the coordinated and sustainable development of nature reserves.
