Does the unclear structure of the left ovary affect fertility?

Patient's question:

Experts,
Good morning!
I had an ultrasound at the hospital last time, and the ultrasound report showed: the left ovary structure is unclear, while the right ovary structure is clear (there is data, but I forgot it).
Please ask:
1. Will this affect fertility?
2. I had a miscarriage on October 4th due to fetal demise, so I underwent an abortion. Until now, I still don't know the reason for the fetal demise. Could the ovary structure be the cause of this abortion? I also have mild hypertension, which could have caused this.

Doctor's answer:

If the hernia surgery is on the left side, this situation is entirely possible. Both the mesh and postoperative local tissue adhesion can cause unclear ultrasound images. However, this does not necessarily confirm any abnormalities in the left ovary. Pelvic CT or laparoscopic examination can be performed to further assess whether the left ovary is normal. Additionally, even if one ovary has an issue, pregnancy is still possible if the other ovary functions normally.
