Can a woman get pregnant if her hymen is not broken?

Patient's question:

Doctor, hello: I am a virgin, and on October 29th of this year, I had sex with my boyfriend. I was quite scared at the time, and he did not enter me, nor did my hymen break. However, he ejaculated inside the vaginal opening. My last period was on October 3rd, and this time it should have come on November 3rd. My periods have always been regular, but so far, it has been a week since it was due, and it has not arrived yet. Could I be pregnant? I thought it should be my safe period, and I am still a virgin—could this be possible? I look forward to your answer.
First follow-up question: Should the pregnancy days be counted from the day of sex (October 29th) or from the day of the missed period (i.e., November 3rd)?

Doctor's answer:

The hymen of a woman is generally located at the outer opening of the vagina, about one to two centimeters away. If the hymen is not broken, the penis will not enter the vagina. Even if ejaculation occurs outside the vagina, the possibility of pregnancy is relatively small. If it is not during the woman's ovulation period, the possibility of pregnancy is almost non-existent.
