New Landscape Design - (Full 2 Volumes)

Author: Nikolaus B?rmeier
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-03-01
Features: The purpose of the landscape design projects described in this book is to inspire and provoke thought. The selected projects include both private and public ones. In addition to large-scale and well-known projects, this book also places special emphasis on those lesser-known but equally vibrant small projects, such as the newly built Munich Embassy Garden and the Weingarten City Garden. These projects of all sizes collectively shape the rich and diverse landscape design in the German-speaking region, demonstrating the diversity of tasks for contemporary landscape designers. Certain things that may appear puzzling at first glance are actually full of innovation and foresight. Whether heavily embellished with clear structures or restrained and natural, this book always gives an impression of aesthetic appeal, dynamism, and distinct personality.
