The Danzhi Xinfa states: “When menstrual flow arrives before its due date, it is due to blood heat.” Blood heat can be classified as either excess heat, deficiency heat, or heat resulting from liver stagnation.
Factor Two: Qi Deficiency
Those with irregular eating habits or excessive fatigue are most likely to damage their spleen. The spleen is the “manager” of blood, and when the “manager” is weak, the “managed” (blood) tends to “run rampant,” causing early menstruation.
