Discourse on the Contemporary Enlightenment Literary Trend in China - Shanghai Sanlian Academic Collection

Author: Zhang Guangming
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-03-01
Features: This book largely originates from three sources: First, it includes partial content from Chapters 2, 3, and 2 from a postdoctoral research report. Second, it consists of articles that were intermittently discussed and debated with peers, specifically the content of Chapters 2 and 4. Third, it systematically explores the moral philosophy of enlightenment, as well as how the literary trends of enlightenment transitioned into "post-enlightenment" thought, primarily in the later part of Chapter 4 and Chapter 5. Several parts of this research were supported by different forms of project funding. Initially, in 2001, a project application was submitted to the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and approved. Later, it was also approved as part of Jiangsu Province's "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" for philosophy and social sciences research. The project was further supported by the Nanjing University China Modern Literature Research Center under the Ministry of Education. This publication was made possible by the strong support of Mr. Ni Wei, and it is a privilege to be included in the "Shanghai Sanlian Academic Collection."
