Features: This book was compiled to celebrate the 80th birthday of Mr. Nie Shiqiao. The entire book contains 380,000 words and collects 47 papers by 34 colleagues and students of Mr. Nie. At the end of the book, there is a directory of papers and monographs published by Mr. Nie Shiqiao and Mr. Deng Kuiying from 1956 to 2004. The papers collected in the book are divided into two main parts in terms of content. The first part consists of 28 academic papers, which are research results by scholars on various issues, most of which have not been published before. The academic level of these papers is relatively high. The second part is a review of Mr. Nie's several literary history monographs: "Draft of the Literary History of the Pre-Qin and Han Dynasties," "Literary History of the Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties," and "Literary History of the Tang Dynasty." It provides a fair evaluation of the academic value and status of these literary histories. This part of the content has been published in journals such as "Shupin" before.
