Features: To achieve the "Millennium Development Goal" of halving the population of poverty in developing countries by 2015, the primary task of all countries is to pursue high economic growth. If a country's policies continue to follow the traditional neoliberal development strategy under the "Washington Consensus," it will be very difficult to achieve this goal. In this book, we explore various "growth" and "stagnation" institutions. Through prudent macroeconomic policies, striving to achieve macroeconomic goals such as high-quality domestic currency, low foreign debt levels, balanced international, preventing dollarization, stable exchange rates, and deepening the domestic financial sector is key to a country entering a growth path. It is more important to follow the economic achievements of the "Washington Consensus" than to fall into economic stagnation, as seen in African and Latin American countries. This book also provides case studies of four countries: China, Vietnam, Belarus, and Uganda. The analysis in this book follows the modern Keynesian paradigm.
