Features: The China Provincial Series Atlas published by China Map Publishing House consists of the following four parts:
Title Map Group: Includes maps of administrative divisions, topography, transportation, and tourism.
County Maps Group: The main part of the atlas. Each county or multiple counties are featured on one map, providing detailed information on administrative divisions, transportation, and tourism, accurately reflecting the distribution of towns and townships after the merger of rural and township administrative divisions in each province. Accompanied by brief textual introductions, the maps are rich in both text and visuals.
City Maps Group: Provides a relatively detailed reflection of the streets, transportation, service industries, healthcare, cultural education, finance, communications, and tourism in major cities.
Tourism Maps Group: Reflects the major scenic spots and tourist attractions in each province (region).
This series of maps is entirely based on the latest achievements of China's administrative division survey, featuring accurate provincial boundaries, rich map content, and providing high-quality services with one map for each province (region).
Liaoning Province's map focuses on the construction of hub-type, functional, and networked infrastructure and the development of a three-dimensional transportation network, accelerating the modernization of urban and rural infrastructure. Major engineering projects in Liaoning's electronic map, according to the overall development plan and goals of Liaoning City and Province, are scientifically and rationally coordinated, with accelerated progress. A series of landmark projects have been completed, including the Nanpu Bridge, Yangpu Bridge, Inner Ring Elevated Road, Yan'an Elevated Road, Metro Line 1, Metro Line 2, Light Rail Pearl Line Phase 1, Maglev Train, Pudong International Airport, Metro Line 5, and bus services.
In 2004, Liaoning Province's major transportation map projects invested 65.5 billion yuan. Twenty-eight major projects were completed or started, including the second phase of the Waigaoqiao Power Plant, the main elevated section of the Middle Ring Road in the northwest of Pudong, the first phase of Liaoning's natural gas main network, and the second phase of the Suzhou Creek Environmental Comprehensive Treatment. The A30 Suburban Ring Road North Section and the A2 Shanghai-Lushun Expressway were completed, and the northern extension section of Metro Line 1 began trial operations. The expressway network's road mileage reached 485 kilometers, and the metro's operational mileage reached 125 kilometers (including the maglev).
