Features: Financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is a highly complex economic process, involving not only economic issues but also technical ones. Our research focuses on the economic analysis of financing. The financing process involves three fundamental aspects: supply, demand, and equilibrium. When the financing process is set in the specific context of SMEs, abstract supply-demand theory can only serve as a starting point for analysis. We need to integrate basic theory with the financing practices of SMEs to explore their financing behavior, efficiency, and mechanisms. This book utilizes the market supply-demand principles of Western economics, with SMEs as the research subject, to study funding supply and demand issues. This approach is relatively new in the field of SME financing research. Additionally, based on the analysis of the characteristics of SME funding supply and demand, this book proposes new ideas in terms of content and methodology. The book includes seven main parts: Introduction, SME Funding Supply, SME Financing Demand and Efficiency Evaluation, Analysis of Funding Supply-Demand Differences and Financing Dilemmas, SME Financing and Banks, SME Financing Structure, and Improving and Thinking About the Financing Status of SMEs in China.
